Manage Voicemail Messages

Keep your inbox organized and manage your messages efficiently. Easily check, reply to, save, call back, and delete Visual Voicemail messages right from your Apple® iPhone®.

Before you begin

You can also check your voicemail by calling from another phone.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Phone app
    .
  2. Tap the
    3-line Menu
     then tap
    Voicemails
    .
  3. Tap the desired message then do one of the following:
    • To play a message, tap the
      Play icon
      .
    • To place a call back, tap the
      Phone icon
      .
    • To reply with a message:
      1. Tap the contact name or number.
      2. Tap the
        Message icon
        .
      3. Enter the message then tap the
        Send icon
        .
    • To save or share a message:
      1. Tap the
        Share icon
        .
      2. Select
        New Quick Note
         or
        Save to Files
         then follow the prompts.
    • Delete message(s)
      1. Tap the
        Trash icon
        .
      2. Tap
        Deleted Voicemails
         then tap
        Clear All
        .
